  A visit to Island Park is never complete without a stop at Connie's! I will be the first to admit that there are a few quirks ie no split checks and the owner may come across a little curt but that will not stop me from enjoying the best food Island Park has to offer. I will always order the Prime Rib when it's available. The portion is huge and always cooked to perfection without fail. I have had the Prime Rib no less than a dozen times. If they have the twice baked potatoes GET THEM! My other standby is the regular hamburger with cheese. They use their own "special sauce" and it is perfect! I get some on the side to dip my fries in. My boys love the wings and my wife enjoys the mama's chicken. The soups are also good and change regularly. For dessert there is a case with several different pies and Reed's Dairy ice cream :)!!! She used to have a server that made cakes and brought them in. I would kill for one more slice of that coconut cake... oh well.
  
  FYI as far as splitting checks I have seen on multiple occasions the "locals" have theirs split... not cool Constance! not cool. :)

  I stop there while I was snowmobiling and had the best French dip in my life. All of our food was good and they have a full bar. I will definitely be coming back next year!
